Theresa Yergeau Obituary

East Lyme-Theresa A. "Terry" Yergeau, 83 of Niantic passed peacefully on Sunday March 28, 2021.
Terry was born October 4, 1937 in Springfield MA the daughter of Mary (Riordan) and Joseph Sliech.
She was married to Rey Yergeau for 40 years and had four children. Terry was a nurse and
retired from Lawrence Memorial Hospital. When her family lived in Rota, Spain she
became an avid golfer later becoming a member of the Women’s League at Elmridge.
Terry enjoyed playing cards with her family, and Bridge with her friends, loved a good
Polka, a fan of the Red Sox, and was a member of the Niantic Lions Club, (Past President 1997).

She met her partner Fred Bach, they traveled, enjoyed dancing, and Casino outings.

She is survived by her brother Joseph Sliech, daughters Anna Palmieri (Sam), Collette
Scaplen (Bill), Laureen Yergeau (Patrick), Grandchildren Billy, Chris, and Ben Scaplen, and
Paige Palmieri and partner Fred Bach.
Terry was predeceased by her parents, her husband Rey Yergeau, and son David Yergeau.
