Donald Dupont
Groton - Donald ALFRED Dupont, Jr., age 62, of Groton, died December 29, 2020 losing his fight to a long illness at the Lawrence and Memorial Hospital in New London.
He was born in New London March 18, 1958, the son of Catherine McCarthy Dupont of Groton and Donald Alfred Dupont. He had been employed as a painter at E & M Construction.
In addition to his mother, Catherine Dupont, he is survived by his son, Donald A. Dupont III of New London; his sister Lynda M. Scott of Sun City, AZ; his niece Cynthia Mahler of Killingworth; his nephew Gregory Gumbs of Waterford and by his three grandchildren, Aries, Mason and Donald. He was predeceased by his father Donald A. Dupont and his sister Nancy A. Dupont.
Donald was a loving grandfather. He played games with his grandchildren whenever he could. He was always teaching them and enjoyed learning new things together.
Be at peace Donald, you are no longer in pain ...and until we meet again may God hold you in the palm of his hand.
