James D. Roszelle
East Lyme — James D. “Don” Roszelle, 89, of Niantic passed away Dec. 4, 2020, after a brief illness. Don was born Feb. 3, 1931, and grew up in Meriden where he met the love of his life Florence.
Don served in the Air Force as a mechanic. He enjoyed a long career working for American Cyanamid CO. and the company moved him to Americus, Ga. as their east coast regional manager. After retiring Don and Flo moved to Panama City Beach, Fla. and enjoyed sailing and RVing. In 2017 Don moved to Niantic to be closer to his family.
Don is survived by his son J. Douglas Roszelle and wife Holly; his beloved cat Oliver; sister-in-law Irene Levee; and several nieces and a nephew. He was predeceased by his wife of 63 years, Florence; and son James Roszelle. Don also leaves behind his extended family at Crescent Point who we would like to thank for taking such great care of him.
