Obituary

Oakdale- Theodore A. Butler, 61, of Route 85 passed away Friday Oct. 4, 2019, at Lawrence and Memorial Hospital, New London.

Born in New London, March 29, 1958. He was the son of John and Shirley Butler. He was a loving father, grandpa, brother and uncle, with a passion for racing and ATV’s. Anything that he could take apart and rebuild to go faster. Ted was a body man his whole life. He spend at lot of time at the Waterford Speed Bowl with his #15 that won many race’s. He also had the best garden in town! You could not leave his house without taking vegetables. There isn’t anything that he wouldn’t do for his family, they were his world. We will miss his smart mouth and the love he gave us.

Ted leaves behind son Christopher and his wife Krista of Waterford, daughter Brandy Dube of East Lyme and son Cody Perkins of Oakdale. His brother Danny Butler of Waterford, brother Todd Butler of Plainfield and sister Lisa Longton of Lisbon. As well as 5 grand children, Tyler, Alora, Chloe, Silas and Lucas. Many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, brothers Jimmy and Jack Butler and sister Sissy Goss.
