Obituary

Robert Francis Rowe
Waterford - Robert Francis Rowe, 77, of Waterford, passed away on Wednesday, October 24,
2018 at Bayview Health Care.
He was the beloved husband of Constance (Jeffery) Rowe. He was born on August 3, 1941 in
Norwood, MA, the son of the late Paul and Elvi (née Granlund) Rowe.
Mr. Rowe served in the United States Navy for 21 years, retiring in 1979 with the rank of Chief
Petty Officer. He was also employed for 20 years as an Electrical Maintenance Supervisor at
Millstone Nuclear Power Station, retiring in 2000.
He loved spending time on the water, owning multiple boats through the years. Family meant
everything to him. He relished the time he spent at all family gatherings and watching his kids
and grandkids at sporting events no matter where they were held. He was friendly to everyone
and literally waved to everyone he saw. He was an avid Dallas Cowboys, Boston Bruins, and
Boston Red Sox fan.
In addition to his wife he is survived by his four sons; Dean Rowe (Alicia) of Waterford, Robert
Rowe Jr. of Waterford, Sean Rowe (Maria) of Quaker Hill, Patrick Rowe (Lisa) of Waterford;
two brothers; Paul Rowe and Kenneth Rowe of East Walpole, MA. He has eight grandchildren;
Dean Rowe Jr. (Andrea) of Waterford, Michael Rowe (Samantha) of East Lyme, Danielle Rowe
of Waterford, Courtney Rowe of Waterford, Rochelle Lee of Groton, Brittany Lee of Florida,
Conner and Ethan Rowe of Waterford; and five great grandchildren; Angelina, Arabella, and
Avyanna Rowe of Waterford, Avery Rowe of East Lyme, and Christopher Vargas of Florida.
The Rowe Family would like to express our extreme gratitude toward all the nurses and staff at
Bayview Health Care for their incredible compassion and care shown to all of us during the final
days of his life.
