Marjorie Wilson Aubrey

Niantic- Marjorie Wilson Aubrey, 89, of Niantic passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on March 31, 2017.
Marjorie was born on Father's Day in June, 1927. She was the third of four children to Mary Ellen O'Connell Cremins and Charles Francis Cremins, of New London.
She attended Harbor School and graduated in 1945 from the Williams Memorial Institute. She worked at the Savings Bank of New London for many years, and later worked at East Lyme High School in the office. Later in life she worked as an executive assistant at Beechwood Manor Nursing home in New London.
Growing up she was very active in starting and participating in the USO throughout World War II. It was dancing and music that fed her soul and here she met her first love, and married Robert F. Wilson in April 1960. They soon called Niantic there home.
Known for: Loving the color yellow, was very proud to be IRISH, the greatest smile and laugh, and always thoughtful of others. She loved her disposable camera, box wine and dancing her life away to big band music. She especially loved her family near and far and participating as a Eucharistic Minister and Lector at St. Agnes Church in Niantic. Always on the go, she adored her "girls club" that she started with Elementary school friends that lasted 77 years.
Marjorie is survived by, 5 children, Robert Wilson and Pam Minucci, John & Julie Wilson, Willy Wilson, Patrick & Lindalee Wilson all of Niantic. As well as her only daughter, Ellen & Brian Kozlowski of Newport Beach, California. She has 9 grandchildren. REW, Colleen, Fallon & Ireland Wilson, Jenna, Jessica and Jillian Wilson; Paris & Shea Kozlowski. She is pre deceased by her husband's, Robert F. Wilson, and Pete Aubrey. Her beloved sister and brother's, Harriet, Charles and Peter and her loving daughter- in- law Eileen Wilson.

A HUGE thank you to all those who loved and cared for Marge, from her in-home caretakers, the senior center staff and drivers, as well as the staff and nurses at Bayview Health Center in Waterford.
