Regis was a beloved husband, father and friend to many. He will always be remembered for his generosity, his willingness to help anyone fix anything at anytime, and his ability to sing a song and tell a story.

In addition to his wife of 60 years, Regis is survived by a son, Matthew Kossler (Jennifer) of Savannah, Ga.; two daughters, Cathleen Kossler-Horan (Robert R. Perreault) of East Hampton, and Stephanie Swap (Peter) of Ivoryton. He is also survived by three sisters, Donna Outly of Melbourne, Fla., Sarah Kossler of Pittsburgh, Pa. and Mary Elizabeth McDermet of Brattleboro, Vt. Regis loved and was loved by his three grandchildren, Jacob Regis Kossler, Sadie Kossler Swap and Samuel Peter Swap.

In addition to his parents, Stephen and Antoinette and his second mother, Kay Kossler; Regis was predeceased by his brother, Stephen Kossler; and his sister, Janice Martiere.

A memorial Mass will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Nov 17, at St. Joseph Church, Squire Street, New London, followed by a gathering to celebrate Regis' life at Langley's restaurant in Waterford. Interment will be private and there are no calling hours.
