Obituary

Paul B. Zielinski, 65, died of natural causes at his home in New London on October 22, 2018. He was born on May 17, 1953, in New London, CT and was a lifelong resident there.


Paul was an alumnus of St. Bernard High School, Uncasville, CT, class of 1971. During his high school years, he excelled in basketball and track and field. He took enjoyment in all sports and attending sporting events, the outdoors, reading, following current events and was a spiritual man.


Paul was known for his carpentry skills and was member of the Carpenters Union Local 24 for many years.


He is predeceased by his parents, Boleslaw and Josephine Zielinski. He is survived by his sisters Elizabeth and Diane, his brother Richard, wife Nancy and their sons Christopher and Nathan, and brother Robert, wife Patricia and their sons Matthew and Andrew. He will be missed by his family, friends and all those who knew him.


A memorial service for Paul will be held at 11:00 am Friday, December 14th at Thomas L. Neilan & Sons Funeral Home, 12 Ocean Avenue, New London, CT.
