Michael Stamm Obituary

New London- Michael C. Stamm, 75, of New London, passed away peacefully at his home on Wednesday, January 27, 2021.

Born in New London, he was the son of the late Leon Stamm & Sophie Rondomanski. He is the beloved husband of Linda Stamm whom he has been married to for 56 years. Mike began his career at Electric Boat and in 2003, after 20 years, he retired from General Electric.

Mike was an amazing husband, father, son, Poppop and friend to all who knew him. He loved spending time with and cooking for his family, boating as the Captain of Andiamo, golfing and “bowling”. The sound of his voice saying “Hey Buddy Boy” each time we entered a room will live in our hearts forever.

He is survived by his wife Linda; daughters Erica Hansen and husband John of Griswold, Nadine DiCocco and husband Greg Burnham of Oakdale. Grandchildren Melissa Hansen (Kevin), Jayme Rogers (Josh), Ryan DiCocco (Ashley), Nina DiCocco (Dante), & Gavin Burnham. Great Grandchildren Lexie, Jordan, Noah, Connor, Dante, and Baby DiCocco due in June. He is also survived by his sister Karen Noyes and cousin Bill Farabini(Linda), who he considered his brother.

A celebration of life will be held in the spring.
