Waterford - Jeffrey A. Senkewitcz of Waterford passed away on Saturday, Dec. 9. 2017.

He was born in Norwich, May 10, 1967, to John and Nancy Senkewitcz of New London, who survive him.

"Senk" grew up in Salem playing youth sports as well as varsity football as an East Lyme Viking. He was an avid Red Sox and Steelers fan. He was known for being kind hearted and having an infectious smile.

Shortly after his graduation in 1985, he entered the U.S. Marine Corps, serving at various locations within the country, as well as a year in Okinawa with a deployment to Korea. He received an honorable discharge in 1989. His passion for our country never faded - he was proud to be an American!

Upon physical injury in construction, he gained employment as an account manager at Power Phone in Madison, where he leaves behind a team of supportive co-workers.

Jeff and his bride, Tammy Boles, wed on the beaches of the Outer Banks, N.C. They built a memorable life together - no beginning no end. He was the proud father of Mikayla and Thalia of Waterford, who will miss him dearly.

He will also be greatly missed by his stepson, Joseph Puente of Los Angeles, Calif., and his sister, Kathleen Senkewitcz and her husband, Chris Sampson, of Willington.

He was predeceased by his paternal grandfather, John Senkewitcz Sr., and his maternal grandparents, Raymond and Gwendolyn Cicchelli.

The family will receive relatives and friends from 2 to 5 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 16, at the Thomas L. Neilan & Sons Funeral Home, 48 Grand St., Nianti. Private interment with military honors will be held.
