Anthony “Tony” W. Hamlin

On Monday September 21, 2020, Tony passed away unexpectedly in his sleep. He was 32 years young. He resided in Waterford, CT., with his wife, Rachel. He was born in New London, CT. on March 4, 1988. As a child he lived briefly in Arizona, but after moving back shortly thereafter, he stayed in Connecticut.

Tony was a loving husband, father, brother and son. His smile would light up a room the moment he walked in. He had the most contagious laugh. He loved hard and deep which allowed him to touch so many people lives. He would give people the shirt off his back, even if it meant that he would go without. He told the best stories, and every time he told them they were better than the last. He was a kind and gentle giant who only wanted to make others happy. Tony loved to eat and fried food was where he always went, never hesitating to order the greasiest food. He loved to skate board and go fishing every chance he got and always had a smile on his face while doing so. Tony was a man of many skills, everything working on cars to delivering appliances and so much more. You could always find him mowing the grass or working on his 94 Dodge Ram pickup truck. Tony’s love, smile, laughter and hugs will be greatly missed.

Tony is survived by his parents Edward and Almy Hamlin. He also leaves behind his wife, Rachel and their four daughters, Caileigh Rose Hamlin, Ryleigh Anne Boss, Caidynce Grace Hamlin and Jesse Lauren Hamlin. He had many aunts, uncles, cousins, brothers and sisters, as well as many friends he considered family.
Rest easy baby, we will all miss you so much.

The family is asking in lieu of flowers for donations to go towards the continued cost of Tony’s passing.
